Cascading Style Sheets permit the Web page designer to specify the precise layout of the page.

These instructions illustrate how to set Cascading Style Sheet properties in Internet Explorer version 5.5 running under the Windows operating system. The process to configure other versions of IE is similar.

step one

Select Tools from the browser menu at the top and click on Internet Options...

Select the General tab and click on the Accessibility button.

step three

Verify that the formatting options on the Accessibility dialog are not checked. Click on the OK button. Now you should see each Web page exactly as the designer intended.
